DEFINITION:

Founded over eleven years ago, Therapy 2000 is a pediatric home healthcare agency dedicated to providing the highest quality physical, occupational and speech therapy services to children in the State of Texas.  Therapy 2000 has experienced amazing growth thanks to forward thinking professionals and industry technology.  The company currently has over 320 employees with six locations spread out across Texas.  We are looking for an experienced Regional Vice President to join our brand new Houston office opening this fall.

The Houston Regional Vice President is a qualified, licensed professional who is responsible for the development, supervision, management and evaluation of physical, occupational and speech therapists and office staff, as well as the coordination of services within a given geographic area of the agency to ensure the provision of quality patient care.

 

 

Duties: 

•1.            Oversees and directs division/branch staff in all areas of day to day function

•2.            Responsible for management of the physical region office location

•3.            Develops goals and objectives for the region in coordination with the CEO

•4.            Responsible for the quarterly Division/Region Performance Report production, discussion, review, and monitoring thereof

•5.            Directs the recruitment, orientation,  and marketing needs for the region

•6.            Reviews patient care documentation and participates in the quality assurance program

•7.            Assists with the development, review, and revision of procedures as they relate to the region

•8.            Responsible for productivity and attendance of fieldstaff within the region

•9.            Responsible for hiring, coaching, reviewing and disciplining region office staff, and management staff from the region

•10.         Submits recommendations regarding budgetary, staffing patterns, productivity standards and other resource needs

•11.         Works harmoniously with corporate department staff

•12.         Finalize all incident and complaint reports in the region

•13.         Performs all duties in compliance with agency policies and procedures. Adheres to all rules, regulations, code of ethics, guidelines and codes in federal, state and local laws which are concerned with the delivery of home based therapy services.

 

Exempt Employee - Administration, does not qualify for over-time.

Qualifications: 

QUALIFICATIONS:

•1.            Graduate of an accredited school program of physical, occupational, speech therapy or nursing

•2.            Currently licensed to practice in her/his specialty in the state of Texas

•3.            Relevant clinical experience, five to ten years minimum

•4.            Supervisory / management experience of five to ten years preferred
